I never got a chance to get back to blogging about Hilton Head.
So after we spoke last our vacation went through the roof! We had the BEST time!
We went to Forest Beach and got to visit with a long-time friend of my sister and I, Patrick Taylor, who is the owner of the Frosty Frog Cafe. http://www.frostyfrog.com/ The Frosty Frog is a daiquiri bar and Patrick treated us to lunch and drinks. We were also presented with Frosty Frog T-Shirts!!! And although we never got to Harbortown during our vacation, we wore our t-shirts everywhere.

I had the "Jump Start and Bananna Banshee" daiquiri mixture which tasted like a creamsicle with a nice little surprise (grain alcohol). Patrick has always been experimental in the kitchen and I fell in love with his Crab Cake appetizer (we had two). I would highly recommend the Crab Cake (you won't find it on the website, but they have it and it's delish). Patrick uses lump and super lump crab and then serves it on a bed of lettuce leaf with an interesting drizzle of italian-ish type dressing. YUMMY! For lunch, Shannon had the Captian Ed's Prime Rib Sub (OMG that was the MOST TENDER and tasty sub) and I had Rachel's Italian Prime Rib Sub (same as the Captain Ed's but with maranara, mozarella, and parmesan cheeses). Needless to say, we blew our diets that day, but it WAS COMPLETELY WORTH IT!! The Frosty Frog itself sports a comfortable, local, friendly atmosphere where everyone knows everyone and even tourists(like us) can relax and have a GREAT time! Great friends, great food, and daiquiris.. what more do you need? By the way, Shannon and I would like to thank everyone at the Frosty Frog for lunch. We had an awesome time and can't wait to get back to HH to see you all again.
